Well, today i recieved the first reply in what i hope will be an ugly war... please google scientology, visit the anti-scientology site and then with what you gather visit the "official" Scientology site and contact them- lets get some cyberspace stuff working against this religion! When you visit the anti site, read the basis of their beliefs- itll probably make you laugh at the absurdity of it!

ARGH!!!! GOSSIP!!!!

Ok so heres another thing on gossip- lets just say its a temptation for me and its really, really hard when my claim to be christian friends wont stop gossiping and doing junk like putting me down and trying to justify themselves... argh. Well anyway i did somr research and heres what i found on how to confront it

Gossip 101 (how to confont it with christians)

Proverbs 11:13 A gossip betrays a confidence, but a trustworthy man keeps a secret.

16:18 A perverse man stirs up dissension, and a gossip seperates close friends.

18:8 The words of a gossip are like choice morsels, they go down to a mans innmost parts.

26:20 Without wood a fire goes out, without gossip a quarrel dies down.

17:19 He who loves a quarrel loves sin, he who builds a high gate invites destruction.

17:17 A friend loves at all times and a brother is born for adversity.

Ok so at the end of each set im going to explain my reasoning- these verses are all obviously talking about gossip. If you have a good christian friend that will be like oh im sorry i didnt mean to then it probably wont be best to charge in loaded with a bunch of bible verses saying you are so bad blah blah blah- but in my situation(where they are comfortable with gossip and wont say sorry lets help each other) we mite want to say " hey, its not just my opinion heres what God has to say" and give them these bible verses. of course, i also found some other bible verses that suggest it mite not be wise to do that with some people

Romans 7:10 I found that the very commandment that was intended to bring life actually brought death

This i think is like saying " sometimes if you push scripture into peoples faces it will just make them reject the message you are trying to get across"

IM NOT DONE SO I GUESS ITS TO BE CONTINUED...

im am so tired of hearing about heart problems... at my school if you forget to do your homework or if you do anything wrong, you have an inner heart problem.. the solution to everything is to take you out in the hall, pray at you then make you write a paper w/ bible references and turn it in to them the next day... if i didnt kno what Jesus was all about and didnt have a good relationship with Him, this school wouldnt help.  They're actually pushing people away frm God instead of bringin them closer to Him...

If you are a new christian and haven't really grown up in a christian home, i know its tougher for you than for people who have grown up in a christian home. Here's a cool story i found that mite give you encouragement:

Shelly's brother had recently gone to college, and some of the only bright points in her life was when she would get letters from him. You see, Shelly's brother mark had led her to Christ, and now that he was gone she didn't have anyone that was a christian. Every day her parents barbs cut her to the quick, and she just didn't feel strong anymore without mark there to lean on. One day she got a letter from him, encouraging her in her walk with God. It said:

Dear sis, I miss you so much. I know mom and dad can be hurtful, but try not to let them get to you. if you dont return fire with fire, then maybe they will see the love of God through you. my new roomate's mom used to check his room after he cleaned it, and if a quarter didn't bounce when it was dropped on his bed she'd make him do it over again. Try and be like that bed, Shelly, and let our parents remarks bounce off of you. Im praying for you, Love Mark

maybe you dont have a mark in your life that offers you encouragement when you're struggling. Find One!!!!! Look in your phone book for local churches, and go and maybe attend a sunday service. Find out what they believe, and if its not the church for you you'll know. If it is, stay there. If you pray for one (a mentor) then God will bring one into your life.

Love you and am praying for you, The Ambassador
